The Retirement Board members (the “Board”) of the Saugus Retirement System (the “System”) are seeking Requests for Proposal from investment management firms to manage part of the System’s defined benefit plan assets in a Passive Foreign Equity product managed to replicate the risk and return of the MSCI EAFE Index. The System’s target allocation to foreign developed market equities is 13% and the total assets of the System were approximately $170 million as of July 31, 2025 according to the Plan’s custodian. While the precise dollar allocation for this assignment will be determined at the time of funding, we expect the allocation to be between $15 and $20 million.
