BR-123334-A
BR-123334-A-CTRM (Jan. 8, 2013) – Employer court reporting referral service did not control the work performed by its court reporters. Client attorneys, not the employer, directed the place and time for recording testimony. The reporters provided their own equipment, could refuse employer assignments, could negotiate higher rates with clients, and set their own schedule and place for completing transcripts without supervision. They were independent contractors.
