The MassDEP DWP Training Calendar includes on-site, as well as webinar, training events from organizations such as New England Water Works Association (NEWWA), Massachusetts Water Works Association (MWWA), American Water Works Association (AWWA), Massachusetts Rural Water Association (MassRWA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Please read the details of each training event carefully since some require a fee and some are not eligible for TCH (training contact hours).

You may also view the calendar using the Google Calendar service as a real-time feed web service. Google Calendar is able to sync with most calendar software such as Microsoft Outlook for Windows and iCal for Mac OS X as well as mobile platforms such as Android and iPhone.   By subscribing to the MassDEP DWP Training Calendar, all upcoming training events will be synced automatically through the calendar software/application you currently use.

Instructions for subscribing to the DWP Training Calendar for various devices/platforms are listed below.

Mobile Devices

Subscribe using iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other.
  2. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
  3. Copy and paste appropriate URL of the calendar to subscribe to from below:

    Fee-Based Trainings:

  4. Tap Next.
  5. Optional - Change the Description of the calendar.
  6. Tap Save.

Subscribe using Android:

On Android, the Calendar app is automatically synced with the Google Calendar server, and vice versa.  See Subscribe using Google Calendar below for instructions on how to subscribe to the Drinking Water Program Training Calendar

Subscribe using Microsoft Outlook:

    Outlook 365:
  1. Click on the calendar icon in the lower left navigation pane.
  2. Click on Add Calendar from the Manage Calendars ribbon menu and select From Internet...from the dropdown menu, or alternatively right-click on any of your calendars listed in the lower left pane and select From Internet... from the context menu.
  3. Copy and paste appropriate URL of the calendar to subscribe to from below:

    Fee-Based Trainings:

  4. Click OK
  5. Click Yes to confirm the calendar subscription.
  6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 for additional calendars.
   Outlook versions prior to 365:

  2. In Outlook, click Tools → Account Settings
  3. On the Internet Calendars tab, click New
  4. Paste the url you copied in step 1 and click Add
  5. In the Folder Name box, type the name of calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK, then Close
  6. To show the calendar, in the left pane of Outlook click on Calendars, and then under Other Calendars you will see your newly made calendar, which you can click to open a view.
Subscribe using Calendar/iCalendar (Mac OS X):
  1. With the Calendar app active, click on File and then click New Calendar Subscription... from the dropdown menu.
  2. Copy and paste the appropriate URL into the Calendar URL field:

  3. Click Subscribe
  4. Optional - You can change the display name of the calendar by entering a new name in the Name field.
  5. Select Every Day for the Auto-refresh interval.
  6. Click OK

  1. Log in to your Google Account.
  2. Go to Calendar.
  3. In the left column, click on the drop-down menu next to Other Calendars.
  4. Click the "+" icon.
  5. Select Add by URL.
  6. Copy/Paste the appropriate URL into the URL field.
