Workforce Individual Training Program (ITA)

The federally funded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I ITA program is for individual job seekers who need occupational skills training in order to successfully reenter the workforce.

Approval Information for the Title I ITA program

Participants can choose from a pre-approved list of training courses. ITA eligible courses are approved on a regional level by the local MassHire Workforce Board.

Each MassHire Workforce Board establishes the approval criteria for its local area and providers must submit information to each of the MassHire Workforce Board for those areas for which they wish to make their training courses available.

TrainingPro will make it easy for training providers to seek WIOA Title I ITA approval for each local area - with a single course submission. The system will apply all relevant local criteria to determine those areas for which the course may be approved.
