The Civil Service Commission publishes statistics quarterly regarding the number and type of appeals received and pending; cycle time; decision outcomes; and judicial affirmation rates.

For the quarter-ending June 30, 2025:

  • The Civil Service Commission received 45 new appeals during the second quarter of 2025 and closed 63 appeals.
  • Year-to-date, the Commission has received 126 new appeals and closed out 108 appeals.
  • The open case inventory of appeals as of June 30, 2025 is 83.
  • 1 appeal has been pending before the Commission for more than 12 months as of June 30, 2025. 
  • The average age of a pending appeal is 16 weeks as of June 30, 2025.
