Boston — On the one-year anniversary of the start of the second Trump Administration, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell today launched a new Federal Accountability Dashboard, highlighting the actions her office has taken to fight back against the Trump Administration’s unprecedented attacks on Massachusetts’s economy and residents’ rights. She also announced the launch of an online Storytelling Portal for residents to share how the Trump Administration’s actions have impacted their lives.
“Since President Trump took office one year ago, his Administration has attacked vulnerable communities, the rule of law, and put more than $3.30 billion dollars in federal funding for Massachusetts at risk. I’m proud to say my office has protected the vast majority of these funds, preserving more than $3.14 billion dollars that our state relies on to educate our youth, promote public safety, protect public health, and so much more,” said AG Campbell. “Behind every policy change are real people feeling the consequences of the Trump Administration’s reckless actions. I am entering year two of this Administration with the same urgency and fearlessness, because I know what is at stake for working families, consumers, underserved communities, and our children.”
Massachusetts Federal Accountability Dashboard
Since taking office in January 2025, the Trump Administration has launched continuous attacks on billions of dollars of critical funding that Massachusetts residents rely on to put food on the table, access adequate health care, educate their children, and much more. At every turn, AG Campbell has stepped up to defend Massachusetts families. To date, she has filed 47 lawsuits and dozens of amicus briefs to safeguard critical programs from the Administration's reckless actions.
Of the $3.30 billion in Massachusetts funding the Trump Administration has put at risk, AG Campbell has protected $3.14 billion through her various lawsuits. The new dashboard breaks down these figures across various categories, including education, health care, housing, energy and environment, and transportation.
The dashboard will also provide information about the Attorney General’s Office (AGO)’s various lawsuits to protect Massachusetts residents against attacks on their civil rights, wallets, health and wellness, safety, public infrastructure, education, housing, and environment. The dashboard can be accessed here.
Storytelling Portal
As AG Campbell continues to hold the Trump Administration accountable, she welcomes residents to continue sharing their stories of how the Administration’s actions are impacting them and their families. In addition to her office’s other help hotlines, the new Storytelling Portal gives residents an accessible way to reach the Attorney General’s Office and share their personal stories. Hearing from Massachusetts residents about their experiences – whether it’s from a parent whose SNAP benefits were delayed, a small business owner feeling the weight of tariffs, or a researcher whose research grant was terminated – will assist the AGO in identifying emerging trends and urgent needs across the Commonwealth and can inform its legal response to certain federal actions.
The Storytelling Portal can be accessed here.
