DHCD stakeholders are invited to comment on the Emergency Housing Vouchers plan through listening sessions and written comments.
DHCD has received an award of 917 Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHV) under the American Rescue Plan. These are tenant-based vouchers available to 1) homeless; 2) at-risk of homelessness; 3) fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking; or 4) recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the household’s housing instability.
