- You may have heard that Fallon Health has announced that it will discontinue offering commercial products. This includes Fallon Direct and Fallon Select health plans offered by the GIC.
- If you are currently a Fallon Health member, nothing will change with regard to your current Fallon Health coverage through July 1, 2021.
- GIC’s Fallon Health products will continue to be available in this year’s annual enrollment, beginning April 7th, 2021, for coverage effective July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022.
- As a result of Fallon Health’s announcement, the GIC will no longer be able to offer Fallon Health products beginning July 1, 2022.
- Rest assured, the GIC will reach out to current Fallon Health members in early 2022 to communicate other plan offerings before the Fallon Direct and Select health plans are discontinued.
