This Black History Month, the State Library celebrates the work of trailblazing politician Edward W. Brooke. Using materials from our collection, we highlight his work as Massachusetts Attorney General from 1963-1967 and as U.S. Senator from 1967-1979, as well as bringing attention to the many “firsts” he achieved along the way. Read more in our blog post and visit us from February 3 through March 3 to see these items on display.
