Boston, MAInspector General Jeffrey S. Shapiro today announced that former Assistant Comptroller Katie (Kendall) Verma will serve as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Office of the Inspector General (OIG).  Verma, who also served as the Chief Process and Innovation Officer in the Office of the Comptroller, was sworn in today.
