Flu viruses change all the time. The flu shot is the best way to prevent influenza and its potentially serious complications. That’s why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a safe and effective yearly flu vaccine for everyone 6 months old and up. Flu symptoms are very similar to those of COVID-19. Protect yourself and others. Don't delay. Get your flu shot today!
For GIC members who are active state and municipal employees, the flu vaccine is covered by your CVS Caremark benefit at a pharmacy or it can be administered during a medical visit. Find a participating pharmacy where you can get your free flu shot. Log in at info.caremark.com/oe/gic and click 'Find a Local Pharmacy'.
Note: If you’re a first-time visitor to the website, please take a moment to register using your member ID number.
