News  OIG Issues Its Annual Report on MassHealth and Health Safety Net

The Office of the Inspector General reviewed crossover claims involving substitute physicians and data integrity weaknesses relating to dental claims, date-span billing, social security numbers, claims paid after date of death and personal care attendants. The Office of the Inspector General also followed up on recommendations from previous MassHealth and Health Safety Net Annual Reports, including recommendations regarding the personal care attendant program, adult day health, adult foster care, positive airway pressure devices and the dental program.
