The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued the October 2018, Vol. 24, #4, Procurement Bulletin.

The Bulletin includes articles on:

  • Summary of a bid protest decision issued by the Attorney General’s Office discussing bid splitting
  • Preventing bid manipulation
  • Applying the special education exemption to procurements properly
  • Reporting compensating balance accounts

Additionally, the Bulletin includes information on an upcoming training opportunity for the 10th annual Story of a Building offered by the Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official program in collaboration with the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
