In the Spring of 2021, Fallon Health announced that they would discontinue offering commercial health plans, including plans currently offered to GIC members. In preparation for Fallon Health's departure from the commercial market, the GIC partnered with Fallon Health and created a robust set of communications with detailed information to help members make the best benefit decisions for their needs.
As many of our members are aware, as a result of Fallon Health’s announcement to discontinue offering commercial health plans, the GIC will no longer be able to offer Fallon Health plans - Fallon Health Direct Care and Select Care - after June 30, 2022.
