Important! All GIC Medicare insurance health plans include Medicare Part D Prescription coverage. If you enroll in another non-GIC Medicare Part D product during Medicare Open Enrollment or anytime throughout the year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will disenroll you from your GIC coverage. This means that you will lose your GIC health, behavioral health, and prescription drug benefits.
If you are disenrolled from a GIC Medicare Health Plan, your next opportunity to apply to re-enroll in GIC health coverage is during GIC’s Annual Enrollment period which occurs every Spring for coverage effective July 1st.
