Boston, MA — In response to reports appearing in the media recently, the Commission on Judicial Conduct announced today that it has not reached any conclusion concerning the appropriate resolution of the matters relating to Judge Maria I. Lopez.

The Commission will not decide upon a recommendation for the resolution of those matters until after the Commission has received the Report of the Hearing Officer, the transcripts of the Hearing and the exhibits, and has provided an opportunity to Judge Lopez and to the complainants to be heard.
