New and Improved!

As you may have noticed, Mass.gov — the online home of the Commonwealth’s government — has been completely redesigned over the past few months. The Commission on LGBTQ Youth is happy to share the launch of its new website, complete with many resources for LGBTQ youth and those who work with this population. Our old URL, www.mass.gov/cgly, will now automatically redirect to our new site.

Most of the resources produced by the Commission are now accessible through the new homepage, including news stories and a full listing of events (located at the bottom of the page), such as our bimonthly Commission meetings. Also available are our policy recommendations that are issued each year to many of the governmental agencies that most impact the lives of LGBTQ youth; specifically, you can find our most recent recommendations here and last year’s recommendations here. Our homepage also provides a link to resources both within and outside of state government, including a special page just for educators.

While we continue to build and improve our new website, we would welcome any feedback on how we can better serve Massachusetts’s youth, as well as our government and community partners. Please contact our coordinator, Dharani Persaud, at dharani.persaud@state.ma.us with suggestions on how to make our virtual HQ even better.
