BOSTON — Today, Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg reappointed Jean M. Lorizio Commissioner of the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC). Lorizio will continue to serve as Chair of the Commission.
Lorizio is an attorney and graduate of Suffolk University Law School. Prior to becoming Chair of the ABCC in 2017, she served as Executive Secretary and Legal Counsel for the Licensing Board for the City of Boston.
The Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) is an agency under the Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General Deb Goldberg. Its overall objective is to provide uniform control over the sale, purchase, transportation, manufacture, and possession of alcoholic beverages in the state.
