Safe Schools Program Manager

Kimm Topping, Ed.M. (they/them/theirs) is an educator, writer, and community organizer who is committed to centering youth voice and leadership. For ten years, Kimm has worked closely with organizations on youth programming, professional development, curriculum design, and organizational change, including The Network/La Red, Building Audacity, Tutoring Plus, and A World of Difference Institute.

As a consultant for the Safe Schools Program for LGBTQ Students since 2019, Kimm has facilitated professional development for thousands of educators across Massachusetts and began co-leading the GSA Student Leadership Council last summer. They are thrilled to expand this work and join the staff as Safe Schools Program Manager.

They are currently writing their first full-length book, GENERATION QUEER, a young adult book that highlights the stories of 30 LGBTQ+ youth activists. For fun, Kimm is either staring longingly at their two cats, learning about queer history, or giving love to their chosen family
