Lezlie Braxton Campbell

Commission Vice Chair

Lezlie Braxton Campbell is an educator, leader, and advocate. He is currently the Managing Partner of Community Impact at Partners in Democracy, working in MA and nationwide. Braxton is a former middle school educator and GED instructor. Braxton engages in local, state, and national advocacy work.  After joining the commission, he became the Legislative Team Chair and passionately helped facilitate the legislative advocacy of the commission. In addition to his work here, Braxton serves as the President of the Neighbor to Neighbor Education Fund. As a former middle school educator, civic education, restorative practices, and youth development are passionate areas of Braxton’s. He is working on a Master of Arts at Columbia University-Teachers College and holds a Bachelor’s from Westfield State University.
