Train-the-Trainer: Workplace Discrimination & Harassment

This hands-on multi-day training prepares participants to deliver thorough, accurate, interactive training to prevent discrimination and harassment in the workplace. In addition, participants learn the essential skills of training related to disability and religious accommodation. The course includes model training segments for supervisors and staff, and a practicum where students receive feedback from seasoned discrimination prevention trainers.
Conducting Internal Discrimination Complaint Investigations

It presents effective methods for considering and implementing accommodation requests; and gives participants the opportunity to practice their skills using realistic case scenarios.

- An asterisk (*) signals “Foundations of Law,” Participants are excused from this day if they have participated in one of our courses previously.
- All courses are held virtually, and participants are required to attend all dates listed for each course.
- All participants must remain on camera and have access to a microphone.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the popularity of these courses we follow a strict cancellation policy and do not offer refunds. If you cancel your attendance prior to one month (30 calendar days) of the course, you will be eligible for a one-time deferment. If you cancel your attendance at least 2 business days prior to the commencement of the course and we are able to fill your spot, you may qualify for a one-time deferment to the following year. At any time prior to the commencement of the course you may send someone in your place.
Attendance Policy
Attendance to all course days is required, and participants are expected to give their full attention to the training. Participants are not allowed to make up days. If you miss more than a collective 1-hour of a course, you will not receive course credit.
Waitlist Payment Policy
If you are signing up for the waitlist, do not pay. Your payment will be rejected and the service charge will not be refunded. The MCAD will request payment if you are accepted into the course.
