Occupational schools are encouraged to reach out to the Division of Occupational Licensure as soon as possible regarding a determination as to whether they will need to apply for licensure as an occupational school, or if their training programs are exempt from licensure. Please complete the Private Occupational School Licensure Determination form and email it with all required attachments to DOL at occupational.schools@mass.gov. It is important that you contact DOL as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for a determination and, if licensure is required, to submit a complete application.
