This course is for all staff members and could be used as your annual sexual harassment training.

For Supervisors

(6 hours) For the first half of this all-day course, we will complete “Employment Discrimination 101.” After learning the basics of anti-discrimination law, we will do a deep dive into techniques and tools for addressing sexual harassment. Topics include: nuances in the sexual harassment legal standard, crafting sexual harassment policies and trainings, the role of the “code of conduct,” and bystander intervention. This course is for supervisors or HR professionals who do not have a background in civil rights law.

Bystander Intervention

(90 min.) Bystander intervention is a philosophy that encourages all people to accept personal responsibility when they witness an uncomfortable situation at work and intervene to ensure the well-being and/or safety of others. In this training, participants will learn specific tools for responding to uncomfortable situations at work and practice bystander intervention with hypothetical scenarios.
