The Spurk Building often referred to as the Classroom Building on the Northern Essex Community College (NECC) is known as the busiest building on NECC’s Haverhill Campus. This building houses 33 classrooms, 54 faculty offices and the newly renovated café offering seating for over 50 plus students. The 89,000 Square feet Spurk Building that was constructed in 1971 was closed for a little over a year to facilitate this $18 million renovation.
