All renewal applications require a completed DOL CORI form.

Fees

Licensees must also submit payment for the renewal fee electronically. There is a convenience fee for all online transactions charged by our e-payment vendor. Online credit card transactions incur a 2.39%, debit card transactions incur a 2.09% convenience fee and ACH/EFT (electronic checks) transactions incur a fee of $0.35.

How to renew

Log in to the ePLACE portal to renew your license. If you don't have an account, you must create one. View detailed instructions.

If it's your first time logging in, you will have to link your existing license to the account:

  • Select Home
  • Select "Link your license, permit, or certificate" under "What would you like to do?" 
  • Select Link Your License/Permit/Certificate to Your Account" and select the circle next to "Link your license/permit/certificate to your portal account"
  • Select the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page
  • For agency, select DPL (Division of Professional Licensure) 
  • For Record Identification Code: enter your Record ID (Example:1234-PL-M1) 
  • For Authorization Code: enter your authorization code (Example: 1234567899) 
  • Select Continue
  • Review your information and select Continue

For returning visitors and those who have linked their licenses to their accounts: 

  • Select "Manage Licenses, Permits, and Certificates"
  • In the right column next to your license, select the "Renew" link
  • Enter your information and select Continue

You may call our Welcome Center at 617-701-8895 any time between 9:00am- 5:00pm. Our welcome center staff will guide you through the process. 

You may visit our Welcome Center at One Federal Street, Suite 600, Boston MA 02110 between 9:00am- 5:00pm. Our welcome center staff will guide you through the process via our agency kiosks or your personal laptop/mobile device.
