Please pay special attention to the following exam information as it has changed from past years:
Regarding the WRITTEN exam:
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Candidates are not admitted into the building after the exam has begun.
The exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes in length, however, you should allow 4 hours for the entire process.
Regarding the Entry Level Physical Ability Test (ELPAT):
SCHEDULING: You will be scheduled for the ELPAT (the second component of the Firefighters exam) after you participate in the written exam.
Please allow approximately 6 weeks after the written exam to receive notification regarding your ELPAT date and time. All ELPAT testing is conducted at our site in Hudson, MA. You will receive an email regarding the ELPAT that will contain more detailed information.
