We provide support and administer human resource programs and services to current and prospective state employees, agency business partners and select municipal employees.

Our programs and services include:

  • Developing and overseeing the implementation and administration of HR policies for Commonwealth Executive Departments
  • Delivering statewide learning and development opportunities for all employees
  • Supporting employee self-service for HR-related tasks and inquiries
  • Administering leave administration for executive department employees
  • Operating executive branch applicant recruiting and tracking platform
  • Negotiating collective bargaining agreements and contracts
  • Promoting an inclusive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Managing executive branch workers compensation self-insured program
  • Administering civil service examinations for public safety and promotional opportunities
