Utility Vendor Program

Under the Green Communities Act, the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) hires approved utility company vendors for small energy projects at state facilities.

Program features

• Energy saving projects at state facilities up to a total project cost of $100,000 per site
• 427 sites from the Accelerated Energy Program (AEP)
• Allows for implementation of simple efficiency measures
• Quick turnaround due to an expedited process
• Includes audit, construction, and closeout
• Quality control inspections performed by the DCAMM utility vendor team

• Lighting and lighting controls
• Water conservation
• Insulation and weatherization
• Energy management systems
• Motors and drives
• Hot water heaters
• HVAC systems
