transcript  Become a SHINE Counselor

Meet Annie. Annie's recently retired. She loves her free time and spending time with her grandkids, but she's looking for a volunteer opportunity that will enable her to give back to her community and keep her engaged and productive - something with flexibility.

This is Jose. Jose had a long and successful career as an attorney. Since settling into retirement, he finds himself longing for a challenge. He wants to use his skills to benefit his community.

Here's Mai. She’s fluent in Chinese, Spanish, and English. She knows from taking care of her parents that people who don't speak English can become lost in our fast-paced world, especially when it comes to the health care system. She wants to use her language skills to help others.
