transcript  What are MASSVETS benefits?

The Massachusetts Department of Veterans’ Services: Hello. I am Cheryl Lussier Poppe, Secretary of the Massachusetts Department of Veterans’ Services.

Massachusetts Veterans may be eligible for MASSVETS financial benefits to pay for things like:

  • Daily living expenses
  • Medical costs
  • Housing, and
  • Support of their dependents

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts also provides an annuity to the following individuals: 100 percent service-connected disabled veterans, widows and widowers whose spouse has passed away from their service-connected disability, and parents of those who lost their son or daughter while on active duty in the armed forces.
