APPLETREE

Supporting Massachusetts to reduce exposure to hazardous substances in the environment.

The Bureau of Climate and Environmental Health has a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) called APPLETREE (ATSDR’s Partnership to Promote Localized Efforts to Reduce Environmental Exposure).

ATSDR funds 25 cooperative agreements to help states build their capacity to assess and respond to site-specific issues involving human exposure to hazardous substances in the environment.
