Citizenship for New Americans Program (CNAP)

CNAP assists lawful permanent residents of the Commonwealth to become U.S. citizens.

Becoming a citizen is a major step toward full integration into American life. Services under the Citizenship for New Americans Program (CNAP) are available to help you with your naturalization process. CNAP services provided include: ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)/civics classes, citizenship application assistance, interview preparation and supportive services including interpretation and referral services.
