Community grant highlights

$500K in efficiency and regionalization grants benefit more than 50 communities 

The Baker-Polito Administration recently announced half a million dollars in Community Compact Cabinet grants to assist 56 municipalities and one school district in implementing shared and other efficiency initiatives. 

Rivers & Roads: Culvert replacement grants to the rescue 

16 communities have been awarded a total of $932,000 to support culvert replacement projects that improve municipal roads and river health. The grants strengthen community preparedness for large storm events, and help them to protect fisheries and river habitats.

$3 Million in Community Compact IT Grants awarded to 44 cities and towns 

Cities and towns have used IT grant funding to upgrade their websites, implement new systems that allow residents to apply for permits and licenses online, improve the security and capacity of municipal IT systems, digitize records and develop other solutions to costly technological challenges.
