Governor's Office Scheduling Requests

Thank you for your interest in submitting an invitation to Governor Healey and Lt. Governor Driscoll. We ask that all invitations be submitted in writing via this website. An email will be sent to acknowledge that we have received your request. The Governor’s and Lt. Governor’s schedules are fluid and can change at any time. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Request a Citation from Governor Healey

Use this form to request a citation from Governor Healey's office for an organization or event.

Citations are issued for:

  • Birthdays over age 65
  • Couples celebrating their 50th or later wedding anniversary
  • Retirements, including military service
  • Outstanding services or deeds (subject to review)

Complete this form to request a ceremonial proclamation from Governor Healey. Ceremonial proclamations that honor, celebrate, or raise public awareness about issues and causes that constituents of Massachusetts value.

Request a greeting letter from Governor Healey

Governor Healey enjoys writing greeting letters for gatherings in the Commonwealth to discuss new ideas and trends. Request a letter for your program, brochure, or publication.

Make your request at least 20 business days in advance. Include your contact information (name, phone number, and email address) and the exact date and location of the event.

A greeting letter can be used in programs, brochures, and other publications for medium to large events in Massachusetts. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Greeting letters are issued at the discretion of the Governor's Office.

The Governor’s Office can only send PDF files or printed copies of requested letters. Word documents with electronic signatures aren't available.

Request a letter from Governor Healey to support a grant application

Governor Healey is happy to write a letter endorsing a grant application to bring project funding and increased experience to the Commonwealth.

If you would like Governor Healey to write a letter in support of a grant application, you should send an explanation of your proposal and sample language for the letter you are requesting. The Governor will only write letters of support for grant applications for funding out of State. The Governor's staff will ask a qualified analyst from the appropriate state agency to review your request. Once the agency has signed off, the letter to the address you have provided.

If more than one organization is applying for the grant, the Governor is obligated to write a letter on behalf of all.
