Economic Empowerment for Women

The Office of Economic Empowerment provides a number of programs geared toward women of the Commonwealth, covering financial literacy, wage equality, and more.

Under Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg, the Office of Economic Empowerment (OEE) focuses on creating and implementing programs and initiatives that give women the tools they need to succeed at home and in the workplace. We do our best to bring quality workshops and opportunities for women to learn strategies for financial success, in addition to free resources.

In 2020, the Office of Economic Empowerment launched the Women’s Financial Summits. A program sponsored by Citizens Bank, the summits take place in cities across Massachusetts and bring together women of all backgrounds to participate in a day-long innovative financial empowerment experience.
