Prenatal and Early Childhood Home Visiting Programs

Early childhood home visiting connects new and expectant parents with a family support specialist. The specialist may be a nurse, social worker, community health worker, or other early childhood professional.

The evidence base for home visiting is strong and growing. DPH offers several home visiting opportunities for families: Early Intervention Parenting Partnerships, F.O.R. Families, Massachusetts Home Visiting Initiative (MHVI), Massachusetts Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative (MPPTI), and Welcome Family.
