Public Meeting Notice  Acton - Intersection improvements at Route 2 and Route 27 ramps

A Live Virtual Public Information Meeting will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to discuss Intersection Improvements at Route 2 and Route 27 Ramps project in Acton, MA.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted Intersection Improvements at Route 2 and Route 27 Ramps project. All views and comments submitted in response to the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal:

The proposed project consists of improvements at the intersection of Route 27 (Main Street) and the Route 2 Eastbound Ramps to enhance safety and operational efficiency. The proposed project extends along Route 27 (Main Street) from the easterly limit of the adjacent Kelley’s Corner project to the westerly limit of the bridge over Route 2. Additional striping improvements may extend beyond these limits. The proposed design of the intersection consists of a mixed-lane roundabout to improve overall safety and mobility by implementing sidewalks, marked crosswalks, and dedicated bicycle accommodations.
