Public Meeting Notice  Auburn - Bridge replacement on Washington Street (US20) over I-395

A Public Informational Meeting will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed bridge replacement, A-17-038, US 20 Washington Street over I-395 project in Auburn, MA.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed bridge replacement, A-17-038, on Washington Street (US20) over I-395 project.  All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal:

The proposed project consists of a full bridge replacement to meet current standards, increase the vertical clearance over I-395, and provide a structure with a 75+ year useful life.  Shared use accommodations consisting of a wide sidewalk on the westbound travel lane with shared lane markings have been provided in accordance with applicable design guides.

This location is accessible to people with disabilities.
