Public Meeting Notice Boston: Chinatown/Leather District vent structures repair & rebuild project
Overview
A Live Virtual Public Informational Meeting will be hosted on the MassDOT website to present an overview of the forthcoming project to repair and rebuild the brick facades of the three I-93 tunnel fan chamber vent stacks in the Chinatown/Leather District area of Boston.
MassDOT plans to start project construction at the beginning of 2023 on the three structures located on Summer Street, Beach Street and Essex Street.
How will this affect you?
Some minor pedestrian paths will be rerouted. A portion of Mary Soo Hoo Park will be closed during work on the Beach Street vent structure.
