Overview of Boston - Leather District/Chinatown Vent Buildings
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of upcoming construction operations and impacts for the Leather District/Chinatown Vent Buildings (Dewey Square) Project in Boston. MassDOT will present an overview of the upcoming work and related impacts. There will be an opportunity for public comments and questions following the formal presentation. Public input will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
How will this affect you?
This project will include improvements to the three vent structures located at Beech Street, Essex Street, and Summer Street in Boston, and involves masonry work, the cleaning of the vent structures, and the rebuilding and repair of the vent stacks.
