Overview of Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Class #66 Graduation
State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #66 on Monday, October 30, 2017 at
7:00 p.m. at the Department of Fire Services, 100 Grochmal Road, Springfield, MA.
Graduates from 15 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the 15 fire departments of: Adams, Amherst, Blandford, Dalton, Deerfield, East Longmeadow, Hadley, Hatfield, Huntington, Orange, South Hadley Dist. 1, Southampton, Southwick, Ware, and West Stockbridge.
The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.
Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.
