The proposed project will repair and rehabilitation the I-90 Allston Viaduct, which carries the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) over the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail’s Worcester Line and through the Allston/Brighton area. The plan entails bridge deck repairs and localized replacements; concrete repairs to abutments, pier bents, and columns; selective cleaning, painting, and repairs to structural steel; bridge railing/ barrier repairs; and improvements to deck drainage.
