Overview of Dec. 15 Accessible ice skating at Gardner Veterans Rink
Join All Out Adventures and the Universal Access Program for skating, socializing, and fun at Gardner Veterans Rink in Gardner.
Lace up a pair of conventional skates or slide around the ice on your manual or power wheelchair. Or use an ice sled, where you can move yourself with your arms or be pushed around the rink by a friend. Activities on the ice include obstacle courses, a tower of blocks for building up and crashing down, races, colorful balls and pucks to shoot around, power chair games, and gently competitive hockey matches.
This program is for people with disabilities, along with their family and friends.
You will need for Dec. 15 Accessible ice skating at Gardner Veterans Rink
You will need to pre-register by calling All Out Adventures at (413) 584-2052. You will also need to meet our essential eligibility criteria for ice skating and fill out a release form. The rink will be cold, so please dress warmly. Wearing winter gloves, coats, hats, and scarves is highly encouraged.
