Public Meeting Notice  Fairhaven and New Bedford - Swing bridge replacement project 12/19/24

A Virtual Public Informational Meeting will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to present the design for the proposed Swing Bridge Replacement project in Fairhaven and New Bedford, MA.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public a project update for the proposed Swing Bridge replacement project. All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal:

The proposed project consists of FAIRHAVEN- NEW BEDFORD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, F-01-002=N-06-001, US-6 OVER ACUSHNET RIVER. Bicycle and pedestrian accommodations consisting of a shared use path have been provided in accordance with applicable design guides.

This meeting is accessible to people with disabilities.
