Public Hearing Notice FY25-27 State Plan Public Hearing
Overview of FY25-27 State Plan Public Hearing

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal and state partnership program authorized under the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act (CCDBG). It provides federal funding for child care financial assistance to help eligible low-income families access child care and improve the quality of child care for all children. States use CCDF to also invest in initiatives including building the skills and qualifications of the workforce, supporting programs to achieve higher standards, and providing consumer education to parents.
Every three years, EEC must complete a CCDF State Plan as the lead agency that receives CCDF funding for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Because EEC receives CCDF, we are required to complete the state plan to demonstrate how we use the funds in alignment with the federal requirements. We are asked to engage with stakeholders and share their feedback as part of our state plan development.
You can join us to share your feedback on the state plan at the upcoming meeting or submit written comments here (form available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole and Simplified Chinese)
