THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS BOARD OF BANK INCORPORATION

The following individuals have associated themselves by written agreement, and are hereby giving notice to the Board of Bank Incorporation (“Board”) of their intention of forming a corporation in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws chapter 172, sections 5 and 6, and any and all acts in amendment thereof and, in conjunction therewith, for the purpose of establishing a trust company to be known as:

NEW VALLEY BANK & TRUST

to conduct business from its office in Springfield, Massachusetts.

In determining whether or not to approve this petition, the Board must decide whether competition among banking institutions will be unreasonably effected; whether public convenience and advantage will be promoted; and whether other statutory criteria are met by the proposal.  A public hearing on this petition will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at 1000 Washington Street, 1st Floor, Hearing Room 1E, Boston, Massachusetts.  Any person wanting to file comments concerning this petition must file such comments with the Board by Friday, September 14, 2018 at the following address.  The Subscribers’ application, and all communications relative to this matter, are available for public inspection at the Division of Banks at 1000 Washington Street, 10th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts 02118-6400.
