Route 146 Corridor Vision Study Public Information Meeting #1
Overview
Date: Wednesday, December 11, 2024, 6:00 p.m.
Location: Virtual via Zoom
MassDOT will hold the first Public Information Meeting for the Route 146 Corridor Vision Study. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., virtually.
At this meeting, the study team will provide an overview of the scope of work and study background. Attendees will be organized into groups to rotate between interactive stations to learn about existing conditions and preliminary assessment of issues and opportunities within the study area. There will also be an opportunity for public feedback and questions at the end of the meeting.
The Route 146 Corridor Vision Study will evaluate the State Highway Route 146 corridor between State Route 122A in Millbury and the Rhode Island State Line in Millville. The purpose of the Route 146 Corridor Vision Study is to evaluate different ways to approach expected congestion and safety-related challenges through capital and operational investments. The Study will utilize land use and transportation data to identify when proposed or planned development would require various capital improvements, and to examine and analyze potential transportation alternatives.
These meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated materials, assistive listening devices, and interpreters (including American Sign Language).
