Safe Routes to School: Webinar for Municipalities

Zoom Meeting:  Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – 1 to 2 p.m.

Help kick off the new year the right way with right of ways! This year’s webinar for municipalities is titled “Municipal Right of Way Requirements for Safe Routes to School.” We will be joined by some special guest speakers from MassDOT who will discuss the differences between school and municipal property, answer frequently asked questions fielded by of our Safe Routes to School team, and answer any other burning questions that you might have relating to this topic! This webinar will be an hour-long session with time for questions at the end. We hope you can join us for our first event of 2022!

We encourage municipal staff (transportation/mobility, public works, planning, police department, public health, etc.), SRTS task members, SRTS School and Alliance Partners, and anyone interested in learning about the whole community approach to SRTS to attend.
