The Executive Office of Veterans’ Services (EOVS), whose mission is to act as the primary advocate on behalf of all the Commonwealth’s veterans, has oversight responsibility for two Veterans’ Homes in Chelsea and Holyoke, and two Massachusetts Veteran Memorial Cemeteries in Agawam and Winchendon. The portfolio of buildings consists of just over one million square feet and capital investment is supported by a combination of state capital bond funds and federal reimbursement from the Veterans Administration.
