What you need for Agricultural Composting Improvement Grant Program (ACIP)
The goal of the Agricultural Composting Improvement Program (ACIP) is to help agricultural composters improve the overall management of their agricultural composting operations and facilitate on-farm compost use.

Who Can Apply:
- Registered agricultural composters
- Agricultural composting farms exempt from registration
- Agricultural composters in the process of applying for registration prior to release of this grant
Eligible Projects:
New equipment or facility upgrades which meet the goals of the Program.
Project examples:
- Screeners
- Spreaders
- Turners
- Mixers
- Windrow Covers
- Compost Pads
- Improved Technology Systems
Maximum Funding:
Maximum funding per applicant is 75% of total project or equipment costs up to a maximum of $75,000.
How to apply Agricultural Composting Improvement Grant Program (ACIP)
Applications MUST be sent electronically (via email) to Dorothy.Du@mass.gov. The deadline for response is August 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Late applications will not be accepted.
